Bobbie Lee "PaPa" Blutcher passed away Saturday, Dec. 25, 1976, at St. Mary's Hospital after a lingering illness. Age 67 years. He was born Nov. 19, 1909 in Lumpkin, Ga. and had lived in Saginaw since 1952 coming from Columbus, Ga. He married Earline Turner in 1932, in Columbus, Ga. She survives him. He was a member of Galilee Baptist Church. Before retiring in 1964 he had been employed at Grey and Armstrong Construction Co. and was a member of the Local Union No. 1098. Surviving besides his wife are one daughter, Mrs. Willie B. Rhodes; three grandchildren, Mrs. Elizabeth Anderson, Mrs. Margaret A. Mayo, William D. Rhodes Jr.; eight great-grandchildren, all of Saginaw; three brothers and two sisters, Lonzie and Rev. George Blutcher, both of Birmingham, Ala.; Oscar Blutcher, Troy, Ala.; Mrs. Jessie W. Williams, Knoxville, Tenn.; Mrs. Lula B. Robinson, Lumpkin, Ga.; many nieces, nephews and friends....burial in Forest Lawn Cemetery...
