Mrs. BEAVERS was born January 20, 1923, in Ralls County, Missouri to Roman Sylvester and Sarah Elizabeth SAYRE TURNER.
She was married to A. V. BEAVERS on September 5, 1943, at Salem Baptist Church in rural Center, MO. He preceded her in death on November 18, 1989.
Survivors include 1 Son and Daughter in law; 2 Daughters and 2 Sons in law; 6 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; two nieces and their spouses; one cousin and a host of friends.
She is preceded in death by her husband, one brother: Earl TURNER and one sister: Zella Ruth TURNER; three nieces: Brenda WITT, Beverly BERENDZEN and Carla CUNNINGHAM; and one great-niece: Sara Straube ANDERS.
Mrs. Beavers graduated from Frankford High School and Gem City Business College. She was a secretary for Moorman Manufacturing Company in Quincy, Illinois, before returning to the family farm which she continued to manage. At the time of her death, she was the oldest member of Adiel Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School for many years. She was an accomplished seamstress and quilter, sharing her beautiful pieces with those she loved. She enjoyed reading, traveling, cooking and visiting with family and friends.
Memorial contributions may be made to Adiel Baptist Church, Kings Daughters Residential Care Facility or Missouri Baptist Children's Home in care of the James O'Donnell Funeral Home.
