First Baptist Church of Gowanda, NY (Corner of North Chapel and College St. Gowanda, NY)

I am holding a memorial service for Betty to celebrate her life and all that she gave to us. I know most of you couldn't make it to South Carolina last month but in spirit, I know you were all there.

All of us have fond memories of Betty and I would like as many people as possible to share those memories with all of us on this day.
Please invite anyone you think would want to be here. All are welcome.

Memorial Service Order for
Elizabeth "Aunt Betty" Latta
Deer's Head Cemetery Lewis, NY May 11th, 2013.

The pastoral care ministry in the time after death is to accompany mourners in their bewilderment, shock, and grief. The Vigil and related rites are intended to help mourners express their sorrow and to find strength and consolation in the paschal mystery of life and death. The importance of the community's support to mourners is stressed, as in the central importance of the community as source of consolation.
