Emilie was born in Altdmeron Germany, she came to this country while a baby with her parents and spent her entire life in and around Jefferson Wisconsin. On Nov 15 1883 she married John Langholff of Hebron Wisconsin.

Emilie Lipke was born on October 18, 1862, in Altdmerone, Pomerania, Germany. She came to this country with her parents when a baby and spent her entire life in and near Jefferson. On November 15, 1883 she was married to John Langholff of Hebron, who died August 3, 1932. They
made their home in this city for twenty years where Mr. Langholff was engaged in the business of livestock buying and shipping.
Mrs. Langholff has been ailing for several years, but was confined to her bed only for the past two months. She passed on to her heavenly home at 11:25 P.M., Wednesday, May 3rd at the age of 70 years. She was a quiet, meloving woman, who devoted her entire time to her family and by a large circle of friends.
She is survived by the following children, Gilbert of Oakland, Edward of Milton, Albert of Jefferson, Mrs. Elsie Becker of Jefferson, and Mrs. Kenneth Herried of Rockdale; one sister, Mrs. Fred Lubahn of Milwaukee; the following brothers, Charles Lipke and Will Lipke of Indiana, and
Fred Lipke of Jefferson; and eleven grandchildren. One son preceded her in death.
Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at St. John's Lutheran church with the Rev. O. Kuhlow officiating. One son preceded her in death.
