Esther Ann Brown Allen, 89, of Fredericksburg died Friday, Feb. 18, 2005, at Mary Washington Hospital. She was the widow of William G. Allen. She had retired from Trailways Bus Co. as an operator.
She is survived by her son, George A. Beatley and his wife, Jacquelyn, of Spotsylvania County; three grandsons, George Allen Beatley, John Beatley and James Beatley; five great-grandchildren; and a stepson, William Allen of Iowa.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Feb. 21, in Oak Hill Cemetery with the Rev. David Green officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 20, at Covenant Funeral Service, Fredericksburg.
