Son of Joseph A. & Joan {Kuntz} Long of Ontario, Canada; He married Margaret Jane Hannon, about 1822, in Ontario. They had at least 12 known children: Jacob; Elizabeth/Betsy; Joseph; John Henry; William Jackson; David B.; Thomas C.; James Elza; Hermonious S.; Harriet Ann; George W.; and Mary Margaret. There may have been other children who were born & died at an early age and do not appear on census records.

Please note there is no headstone/marker that I know of.....or even if this cemetery is still in existence; however, our family records all record "Long Cemetery" or "Long Family Cemetery; in Maytown as his burial place. It was quite common for families to be buried on the "family farm" at that time.
