Charles H. was dead on arrival at Good Samaritan Hospital, Sandusky, Ohio, Sunday July 8. Born in Toledo, Ohio December 8, 1896. Resided at 118 ½ East Main Street, Bellevue, Ohio was former owner of Anne's. Son of Andrew and Ellen Davey Schmid and married the former Kathryn Forrest in 1945. He was a member of the Bellevue Lions and Elks Club and the Society of the Preservation and Encouragement for Barber Shop Quartet Singing in America.

Survivors include his wife Kathryn; one step daughter, Mrs. James (Norma) Berlin, of Toledo; and one daughter, Mrs. Carolyn Brady of Boca Raton, Florida; and 7 grandchildren. At the request of the deceased, there will be no calling hours. Private memorial services will be held for family members following cremation. The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to The SPEBSQSA of Lopedics Foundation of Kenosha Wisconsin. Foos Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
