Augusta GA - Mrs. Mary Elizabeth May Harvley, 909 Highland Ave., died Wednesday [May 17, 1967] at a local hospital following an extended illness. Burial in Westover Memorial Park. Platt’s Funeral Home. A native of Johnston SC, she was a daughter of the late Yancey M. and Mottie Corley May. She had lived in Augusta for the past 44 years and was a member of the First Baptist Church, Ruth Bible Class, Martha Tanner Circle of WMU and the Ladies Auxiliary of Brotherhood of Railway Trainmen. Survivors include her husband, J. D. Harvley, Augusta; one daughter, Mrs. Jean Harvley Daley, Augusta; three sisters, Mrs. C. A. Bagwell, Sr, Mrs. William Darragh, both of Greenwood SC, and Mrs. Homer Woods, Seneca SC; one brother, J. Y. May, San Bernadino CA; one grandchild and several nieces and nephews.
