The funeral was Thursday at Higgins Funeral Home with the Rev. John Taylor officiating. Burial was in Lincoln Cemetery.
Mrs. McDuffie was a native of Jackson County, Mississippi, daughter of the late George W. and Alice Reese Marsh. She was the widow of the late John G. McDuffie, who died in 1963. Mrs. McDuffie had worked as a seamstress before moving to Fayetteville in 1974, where she was a member of the Brogan Avenue Baptist Church.
She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Mary J. Murks of Fayetteville; a son, Roy C. McDuffie of Panama City, Florida; two sisters, Mrs. Vela Hewett of Panama City, Florida, and Mrs. Queen Reeves of Florala, Alabama; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
