Chester Louis Baker, 85, resident of National Health Care in Clinton, widower of Sara Frances Baker died February 9, 2013. Formerly of Ninety Six, he was born on May 24, 1927, in Opelika AL, He was the son of the late J. D. and Mamie Baker. Chester retired from Greenwood Mills after 25 years of service. He was preceded in death by a son, Richard Lynn Baker. Surviving are a son, James Larry Baker (Trina) of Ninety Six; a step-son, Charles Marshall Garrett (Jane) of Greenwood; two sisters, Helen Walker of Apison TN and Hazel Capps of Opelika AL; granddaughter, Stacy Baker Shirley of Saluda, reared in the home; four grandchildren; and five great grandchildren. Harley Funeral Hime.
