Harold J. "Frail" Hemmler, 77, of Washington Ave., Hanover, died Wednesday, March 18, at Hanover General Hospital.
Mr. Hemler was born in Hanover, and was the son of the late Jerome and Odelia Gruninger Hemler. A member of St. Joseph'a Church in Hanover, he was also a member of the Hanover Moose and the American Legion of Hanover. MR. Hemler was a veteran of World War II, serving with the U.S. Army in the Western pacific, and a retired employee of Colson Heel Company.
Mr. Helmer is survived by one sister, Pauline Bange of Westminster, Md., and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, meeting at the Hicks Funeral Home at 10:15 a.m. to go to a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Joseph's Church at 11 a.m., with Monsignor Robert C. Gribbin as celebrant. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.
