Clarke. On Friday, November 2d, Mrs. Jane Clarke, consort of Robert Clarke, after an illness of 5 weeks, which she bore with Christian fortitude, aged 46 years. Her friends and acquaintances are respectfully invited to attend her funeral, on Sunday at two o'clock from her late residence, near the Navy Yard.
Her youngest daughter, the baby of the family Frances Lavin Clarke (Memorial# 49423693) was born on 20 Jul 1827, so she was only 5 when her mother died 4 Nov 1832 & her dad on 17 Feb 1833, so the oldest child, Ann Marie Clarke became her guardian.

In addition to Anne Marie Clarke (married: Nash) she was also themother of Francis Lavinia Clarke (married: John Ober in D.C. June 19, 1851). Francis was born in D.c. on July 20, 1827 and died in D.C. on January 5, 1910). She is also buried in the Congressional Cemetery. Anne Marie Clarke Nash was eventually her guardian.
