Giftie Meyer
Giftie H. Meyer, 91, of Portsmouth, died Wednesday, March 24, 1993, at the Greenbriar Convalescent Center in Wheelersburg. She was born Sept. 23, 1901, in Sandy Hook, Ky., a daughter of the late James and Sarah Fraley. Preceded in death by her husband, Edison Meyer, April 24, 1981, she is survived by a son, Junior Henson of Columbus; two daughters, Darlene Traylor of Wheelersburg and Goldie Jones of Columbus; a brother, J.B. Fraley of portsmouth; 10 grandchildren; and several great-randchildren and great great grandchildren. Services will be held at 10am Saturday at Brant Funeral Home in portsmouth, with the Rev. Virgil Cooper officiating, and interment in Memorial Burial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home from 5-9pm Friday.
