Chubby Wise Alexander, 65, passed January 24, 2013 in Wilmington, DE. Born July 28, 1947 in Bedford County, he was the son of the late Donald Moon and the late Irene Alexander. He is survived by two daughters, Tulsa Alexander of Roanoke, VA, and Michelle Alexander of Pennsgrove, NJ; Nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, February 10, 2013 at the chapel of the Cook & Minnis Funeral Home of Altavista. Viewing and visitation will be held at the chapel from 1 p.m. until the hour of service. Interment will follow at the Bethany Ebenezer U.M.C. Cemetery, Lynch Station.
