FRYE - John Hobson, 68, 153 Suppes Ave., died Aug. 31, 1967, at Lee Hospital. Born Dec. 7, 1898; in South Fork, son of Cyrus and Sara (Reed) Frye. Preceded in death by parents; brothers, Samuel, Howard, Floyd, Harrison, Elneth, and Donald; and sisters, Ora and Mary. Survived by widow, former Verda Baumgardner, and these children: Beverly, Freeport, Long Island, N.Y.; Wallace, 714 Linden Avenue, and Budmond, Rochester, N.Y.; also five grandchildren. Brother of Albert, Gary, Ind. Retired engineer for Pennsylvania Railroad. Member of Beulah EUB Church. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday at Marlin G. Meek Funeral Home, where private service will be held Sunday, the Rev. Budd R. Smith, assisted by the Rev. Boyd E. Coleman. Interment, Richland Cemetery.
