James Paul LeFlore Jim LeFlore, 49, of Matthews, passed away Sunday, June 5, 2011 at Presbyterian Matthews.

Jim was born in Jefferson County, MO, January 10, 1962, the son of Nancy LeFlore and the late Claude LeFlore. Survivors include his wife of 20 years, Lynn Allen LeFlore, son James Alexander LeFlore and daughter McKenzie Blake LeFlore, and mother Nancy LeFlore. Also surviving are his siblings, Suzette Anastasi (Jack), Michael LeFlore (Patti), and Mitzi Wormley (Hans). Jim was a beloved uncle to Ally, Katy, Tyler, Ryan, Hank, Sam and Jack.

Jim lead a full life which included ownership of LeFlore Sales, Inc. He volunteered in many different capacities including church, sporting events and was very active in the Porter Ridge community. Jim enjoyed running and attending all Panther games with his family and friends. Jim could always be found on the football field, in the basketball gym or on the soccer field watching his children 'dominate.'

Jim was a wonderful, devoted and loving husband to his wife Lynn. His son Alex will always remember him as a great father and an even better friend. Jim passed on his sense of humor to his daughter McKenzie, and could always be counted on for a good laugh. He has countless friends that meant the world to him.

Mass of Christian burial was celebrated at St. Luke Catholic Church, Mint Hill. Contributions may be made in his memory to Porter Ridge High School's Booster Club, to help fund the building of a new field house.
