Eva Van Patten, daughter of Johannes and Neeltje S. Vedder Van Patten, was born in 1781 and baptized October 14, 1781 at Schenectady, Schenectady County, New York. Eva married Johannes Abrahamse Vaneps in 1798 at Schenectady, Albany County, NY and they were the parents of Abraham Loren, Eleanor (Nelly), John, Carel Hansen and Jacob Swits. She died after August 1, 1809 and before the end of 1810, probably in Schenectady. She also is probably buried in the Schenectady area, although we don't currently know where.
