Pansy Hyder Garren, 89, of Roanoke, Va., went to be with her Lord on Thursday, May 19, 2005.
She was the wife of the late John F. Garren. She was also preceded in death by all her brothers and sisters. She retired from Sears Roebuck and Co.
Surviving are her sons and daughters-in-law, John F. Garren Jr. and Mary D. Garren of Richmond, Va., and Kenneth R. Garren and Shelia J. Garren of Lynchburg, Va.; five grandchildren, Linda G. Freshcorn, Allison G. Flynn, David A. Garren, Steven T. Garren and Kristen G. Snow; and 11 great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Shepherd's Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. today at Oakey's North Chapel, Roanoke, Va. Memorials may be made to Lynchburg College, 1501 Lakeside Drive, Lynchburg, Va. 24501.
