Mr. Fred M. Hill, of Fredericktown, Washington county, about 80 years old, died Tuesday. Funeral services were conducted yesterday at St. Rose. The deceased is survived by his wife, 10 children, 37 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. He was the grandfather of Mrs. George Brents and the father of Mr. Charles Hill, both of this city.
The family have the sympathy of a large number of friends.

Fred Hill's burial entry on page264 of the Sacramental register for 1904-1953, for Holy Trinity Parish--Fredericktown, Kentucky and Holy Rosary Parish--Manton, Kentucky says that he was the husband of Jane (Edelen) Hill, a Veteran of the Mexican War, that he was well prepared to died, Rev. Father J. V. Pieters said that High Mass was said at Holy Trinity church and that he was buried in St. Rose Cemetery.
