A well known resident died at his home so-ea corner of 7th and Liberty Sts of catarrh of the stomach. He was 73 years of age and was born in Kresgeville, Monroe county. For a long number of years he was engaged in the lumbering business near his home and at Albrightsville, Carbon County. About 15 years ago he moved with his family to Allentown. With the exception of a short time which he spent in the grocery business at his home, he lived a retired life here. He is survived by his widow nee Elizabeth Serfass,the following children, Henry E of Easton; Freeman, Allen, Joseph, Clinton and Mrs James Hickson all of Allentown. bro and sis - Nathan of Allentown, Jacob of Mauch Chunk; Mrs Henryh Diefender of Macungie, Mrs Rueben Schmale of Allentown.
