Velma Lorena Pierce, 92, of Wichita Falls, passed away Friday, February 8, 2013.

Graveside services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 12, 2013 at Crestview Memorial Park. Arrangements are under the direction of Owens & Brumley Funeral Home of Wichita Falls.

A daughter of the late Emma Lee Langford Ingram and *Clyde Ingram, she was born February 2, 1921 in Bluegrove, Texas. She was a member of Faith Village Church of Christ. Velma enjoyed going to the Senior Zone, bowling, and playing domino's. She was also preceded in death by her husband, JB Pierce; two daughters, Judy Bill Cline, and Connie June Howard; and her son-in-law, Jack Howard.

She is survived by her daughter, Claudia "Lorena" King of Wichita Falls; her sister, Dorothy Marie Patterson of Illinois; six grandchildren, Jennifer Vest, Mark King, Sherry Howard, Gregg Howard, Daniel Howard, and Chris Cline; sixteen great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the American Heart Assoc., 7272 Greenville Ave., Dallas, TX 75231.
The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Monday, February 11, 2013 at Owens & Brumley Funeral Home of Wichita Falls.
