Sallie J'Nell Goodman Culp, 90, life long resident of Dallas Texas, passed to her heavenly home on Saturday, February 9, 2013. Preceded in death by husband Hubert G. Culp Sr., parents Jack and Dott Goodman of Rylie Texas. Brothers Harold Clifton "Tip" Goodman, Crockett Juston Goodman, Billy Byrl Goodman. Daughter Rita DeLois Culp and Grandson Kelby Grant Culp.

She is survived by brother William DeWitt Goodman, Sister in Law Mrs. Edith Goodman. Children LaWanda Jean Ferguson and husband Phil, Beletta Ann Grant, Hubert Grady Culp Jr, and wife Linda, Dottie Mae Corder and husband George.

Grandchildren Rad Ferguson and wife Valerie, Kevan Ferguson, Molly Green and husband John; William "Nat" Grant and B'Ann Crooks and husband Chris; Lisa Arrington, Charisa Hauser and husband Mike, Melissa Colegrove and Jared Corder.

Great grandchildren Katie, Anna and Mary Green; Taylor Crooks, Dustin Howle, Macie and Reygan Arrington, Logan and Laynie Culp, Christian Hauser, Haley Colegrove and a whole host of family and friends.

Sallie J'Nell is one of the true pioneers of Southeast Dallas county and will be missed by all. She was indeed a pillar of her home, her church and her community.

She graduated from Old Mesquite High School in 1940. Married to Hubert Grady Culp in 1941 and spent the majority of her career in Rylie Texas as owner of J'Nells Beauty Shoppe.

She was a life long member of the Rylie Christian Church where her Grandparents were among the founders of the congregation. She had a passion for the community and will be long remembered for her love and faith.

There is a time of visitation for family and friends scheduled for Monday evening 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the Roselawn Funeral Home, 1000 South Highway 175, Seagoville, Texas.

The Memorial service will be held Tuesday, 10:00 AM, at the Greater Faith Temple, formerly the Rylie Christian Church, at 10710 Mulberry St. Dallas, Texas. Interment will follow at Roselawn.

Donations in J'Nell's honor are requested to be sent to the Vitas Hospice of Dallas, 8585 N. Stemmons Fwy, Dallas, Texas 75247 as a thank you for their wonderful care
