Corporal Robinson was an aerial gunner aboard U.S. Army Air Corps B-24E Liberator #42-7408.

He was killed as a result of a mid-air collision with B-24E #42-7183, twelve miles northeast of Hogup Point, near Clyman Bay of the Great Salt Lake, Utah.

Son of Hugh, Sr. and Janet (Junkin) Robinson.
Usual residence: 2205 Queen Street,
Winston-Salem, North Carolina.
