Garrett died Sunday, May 12, at Clovis High Plains Hospital. She was born May 1, 1907, in Oklahoma territory.
She was a school teacher and married Walter c. Garrett May 8, 1928 in Erick, Okla.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Farmington and of Delta Gamma Sorority of Educators.
She is survived by her husband, Walter C. Garrett, of the home; three daughters, Charlotte Tignor of Erick, Okla., Shirley Lassiter of Clovis and Opal v. Goble of Albuquerque; one son, S. Jerry Garret of Farmington; 15 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren.
Casket bearers are Earl James Tignor, Cameron Goble, Walter C. Garrett IV, Lonzo Lassiter, Stanley Lassiter and Kerry Lallister.
