CLAUS ROSENGREN

Services for Claus J. Rosengren, 78, sho died Monday at his home, 1615 Melrose Street [Rockford, IL], will be held at the Fred Olsen Mortuary. The Rev. A. Loreen, pastor of the First Lutheran Church, will officiate, and burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery. Mr. Rosengren was a forman at the Emerson Brantingham Co. for 30 years, before his retirement in 1924. His son, Clarence G. Rosengren, is a foreman at the J. I. Case Company plant. Born in Västergötland, Sweden on January 2, 1862, Mr. Rosengren came to Rockford 60 years ago. He was a charter member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church and a member of the Moose and Modern Woodmen lodges. Surviving are one son, Clarence, and three daughters, Mrs. Ethel Linden, Mrs. Olive Stephen, and Miss Violet Rosengren, all of Rockford; two grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
