Mrs. P. Hessing Died Thursday

Mrs. P. Hessing passed away last Thursday night at 9:00 o'clock at her home, 606 Independence street. Funeral services were conducted Monday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock at the Second Christian Reformed church, Rev. Martin Monsma officiating. Interment was in Black Oak cemetery.

Mrs. Hessing was born in The Netherlands on Aug. 25, 1861, and died at the age of 75 years six months. She came to America at the age of 22 years. Seven years later she was married to P. Hessing. To this union were born four children, who survive her as follows: Dr. Dirk Hessing, Andrew, Mrs. John Onstine, all of Pella, and Mrs. William Jarvis of Chicago She also leaves five grandchildren, four brothers, Frederick Kool of The Netherlands, Cornie Kool of Alton, Iowa, John and Andrew Kool of Pella, and four sisters, Mrs. John Ter Louw, Mrs. Arie Thomassen, Miss Jane Kool and Mrs. Harry Hesselink, all of Pella.
