Joshua Andrew Odom, 38, of Benton, died at 8:40 a. m. Saturday, February 9, 2013 at his parent's home.

Mr. Odom was born on January 3, 1975 in West Frankfort, IL the son of Brad Odom and Cindy (Browning) Odom. He married the former Sheri Wyant on August 8, 1998 and she survives.

Josh farmed with his family at Odom Farms and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and all sports. He dearly loved and missed his late son, Deegan.

Surviving relatives include his wife, Sheri Odom, Benton, a daughter, Demi Odom, Benton, a step-son, Bryce Lindsay, Chicago, his parents, Brad and Cindy Odom, Benton, one brother, Benji (Bryann) Odom, Ewing, two sisters, Emily (Victor) Munoz, Ewing, Molly (Brandon) Koester, Benton, paternal grandparents, James and Loretta Odom, Benton, maternal grandparents, Sherman and Sue Browning, Macedonia, Marlene Webb, Ewing, and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Mr. Odom was preceded in death by one son, Deegan Odom.

Visitation will be from 4:00 to 9:00 p. m. Monday, February 11, 2013 at the Whittington Church. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at the Whittington Church with Pastor Mark Minor officiating. Burial will be in the Masonic and Odd Fellows Cemetery in Benton. Hobbs-Johnson Funeral Home & Crematory in Benton is in charge of arrangements.
