Deceased Name: Alex M. Bovidge

Alex Michael Bovidge, 60, of Elizabeth Township, died Saturday at home.
Born in Ashland, March 27, 1945, he was a son of Alex and Jean Metzinger Bovidge, Ash land.
He was a staff sergeant in the Air Force serving in Izmir, Turkey, during the Vietnam War.
He was a musician who played the piano, guitar and trumpet.
He was a member of the Air Force Drum and Bugle Corps and the Reading Buccaneers.
He was a Boy Scout coordinator and a member of McKeesport American Legion.
Surviving, in addition to his parents, are his wife, the former Barbara Chandler; a daughter, Laurie L., wife of William Campbell Sr., Pittsburgh; a son, A. Michael Bovidge, husband of Darlynn, Rock Hill, N.C.; a brother, John Bovidge, husband of Susan, Dauphin; five grandchildren, Alexandria N. and Nathan L. Bovidge, Christina N., William C. Jr. and Brooke A. Campbell.
Graveside services with military honors will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in Christ Church Cemetery, Fountain Springs, with the Rev. Roger Snyder officiating. Gilbert Funeral Home and Crematory Inc., 6028 Smithfield St., Boston, Elizabeth Township, is in charge of arrangements.
