Frank Kyle was a graduate of Vanderbilt University were he starred at quarterback on the football team. He was captain for legendary coach Dan McGugin's initial Commodore team. Frank was head football coach at Ole Miss for one season. He returned to Clay County and the Kyle Brothers Lumber and Timber business were he worked until his death.
