Mary Fisher Ames' brother is Amos Fisher 10486756 He is buried in the same cemetery as Mary, her husband and son FIsher Ames. Per the book, "Centennial History of Lakeside" Page 35, Her son Fisher Ames died of an infection in 1897. His mother (Mary Fisher Ames) had devoted herself to him during her many years as a widow, and she sold their property with a month of his death to her sister and brother-in-law, Gratia and Robert Fletcher. Mary Fisher Ames outlived her son by only two years and died in a little house on the property she had owned. Page 16 discusses how Joe Martin, the school teacher, had small pox. Alfred Ames (Mary Fisher Ames' husband), Mr and Mrs Stoddard (Mrs Stoddard was Amos and Mary's mother. Mr Stoddard was her second husband) caught it and all three of them died on the same day, March, 4, 1864. Alfred Ames and the Stoddards are likewise buried in the Lakeside Cemetery near Mary FIsher Ames.
