Christine Compton, Born November 13, 1927 in Gilmer, TX and passed away July 23, 2008 in Dallas, TX.
Christine was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who was a life long member of the Central Church of the Nazarene. She retired from the Los Angeles City School District.
Christine was preceded in death by her mother, Elodie Stubbs and her father, James Hardy Wolfe.
Christine is survived by her husband of 58 years, Ernest K. Compton; son, Ernie Compton, Jr. and wife Cheri; daughters, Deborah Wadley and husband Jim, Elodie Ward; 8 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren; sister, Dorothy Burnes; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Christine will be missed by all that knew and loved her. She is now resting in the arms of her Lord and Savior.
