Hazel Woods Cave, 82, of 227 Tessentee Road, died Tuesday, April 11, in Angel Community Hospital after a period of declining health.
She was a native of Three Oaks, Mich., daughter of the late Jabe and Louise Houston Woods. She was a homemaker and a member of Ashbury United Methodist Church.
Surviving are her husband David Lem Cave; a son, D.L. Cave of Franklin; two sisters, Willa Mae Holbrooks of Gastonia and Gladys VanHook of Franklin; three brothers, Clyde and Carl Woods of Franklin and Clarence Woods of Gastonia; two grandchildren and a great grandchild.
Services were held at 11 a.m. Friday in Dryman Chapel United Methodist Church. Rev. Richard Campbell and Mickey Woods officiated. Burial was in the church cemetery. Pallbearers were Ralph Woods, Aubrey Woods, James Woods, Greg Doster, Todd Doster and Doug Cabe.
