ROBERTS Whitney Lynn Wainscott
34, wife of Andrew W. Roberts, died Wed, Feb 6, 2013. She was born March 9, 1978 in Lexington, KY to Michael and Sherry Courtney Wainscott. Whitney was a graduate of Dunbar High School and a member of Dunbar's first National Championship Cheerleading Team. She also attended both UK and EKU, was a member of Southland Christian Church and worked at Sincerely Yours Jewerly in Victorian Square. In addition to her husband and parents, Whitney is survived by her daughter, Haleigh Elizabeth Roberts; her brother, Wes Wainscott, both of Lexington, Kentucky; and her mother-in-law, Gloria Roberts of Somerset, Kentucky. Visitation will be 4-8pm, Sun, Feb 10 at Southland Christian Church, Building B. Funeral service will be 11am Mon, Feb 11, at the church with Rev. Jon Weece and Dr. Ray Holdren officiating. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park. Serving as casketbearers will be Kevin Roberts, Jim Roberts, Wes Wainscott, Brandon Fox, Keegan Bakos, Jeff Bakos, David Courtney and Tanner Roberts. The family would like to acknowledge all of Whitney's former cheerleading squads as honorary casketbearers.
