Guy L. Dean of Beaverton, a retired railroad steward, died of heart problems Friday in a Portland hospital at the age of 75. At his request, no service will be held.
He was born July 13, 1916, in Portland, and was a lifelong resident of the area. A dining-car steward, Mr. Dean worked for Union Pacific Railroad for 35 years until his retirement. He was a charter member of Aloha United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Lavine ''Bunnie''; son, Robert of Milwaukie; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Private interment will be in River View Cemetery.
