WOODBURN - Frank William Kanehl, 89, died Wednesday in his home. He was born and raised in Aldrich, MN. He married Vonda E. Seaver on Sep 24, 1932, in Solway, MN. They lived in Atwater, CA. for 10 years before coming to Woodburn in 1969. He worked on heavy constructions projects as a dragline and shovel operator until his retirement in 1968. His memberships included the Eagles and Elks lodges.
Surviours include his wife; son, William of Medford; daughters, Elverna Adkins of Reno, NV.; and Arleen Forsyth of Warrenton; brothers, William, John and Fred, all of Minnesota, sisters, Emma Wech of Waconia, MN, Irene Anders of Hopkins, MN.; and Getrude Botz of Aitkin, MN; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Services will begin at 2 p.m. Monday at Cornwell morturary. Private entombment will be in Belle Passi Mausleum.
