Mrs. Stella Harding, longtime resident, dies
Mrs. Stella A. Harding, 94 of 1504 Park Ave., died yesterday morning in the East Haven Nursing Home after an illness of several months.
Born in Fields Corners, Aug. 8, 1880, Mrs. Harding lived in Elyria most of her life.
She was a member of the Washington Avenue Christian Church and the Order of Eastern Star.
Surviving are a son, Lester W., Vermilion, and a daughter, Mrs. John H. (Thelma) Wehmhoff Sr., Elyria; three grandchildren. Her husband, William M., died in 1940 and a son, Robert, died in 1973.
Friends will be received in the Curtis-Scheuffler Funeral Home tomorrow from 7 to 9 p.m.
