William Dieter, 73, Boaz, died Tuesday in a Richland Center hospital. He was a retired sawmill operator. Mr. Dieter was born in Richwood township. He married the former Louise Smelcer 35 years ago.
Survivors are his wife, sister, Mrs. Mary Adams, Richland Center; brothers, Theodore, Blue River; Charles, Colorado; Sam, LaFarge and Louis, Boaz; his stepmother, Mrs. Barbara Dieter, Richland Center; half-sisters, Mrs. Edwin Anderson and Mrs.- Rosina Swenink, both of Richland Center; Mrs. Glen Lewis, Muscoda and Mrs. Cleon Hinkel, Blue River.
Burial will be in Boaz cemetery.
