Mrs. Ora L. Breneman, 88, of 904 Main St., Saxton, died Tuesday, Jan. 23, 1979, at 4:15 p.m., at the Bedford County Memorial Hospital, where she had been a patient since, Jan. 14.
Born Feb. 17,1890, in Yellow Creek, Bedford County, she was the daughter of J. Martin and M. Rosamond (Cessna) Fink. She married Robert M. Breneman who preceded her in death June 25,1952.
Surviving are four daughters: Mrs. Martha L. Barton, Mrs. Rosamond C. Steele and Mrs. Catherine B. Spencer, all of Saxton; and Mrs. Eleanor A. Whitefield of Forest Heights, Md. Also surviving are seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three sisters and one brother.
She was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ, Saxton, and was past Treasurer of the Mite Society of the church. She was also a member of the Bedford County Daughters of the American Revolution and the Order of the Eastern Star, Saxton.
Funeral services were held at the Trinity United Church of Christ on Saturday, Jan. 27, with the Rev. John D. Bonebreak officiating.
Interment was made in Grandview Cemetery, Saxton.
Funeral arrangements were handled by the Joseph D. Giles Funeral Home, Mohnton.
