"Mrs. Mary Kostka, age 75, of 1621 19th St., Two Rivers; a native of Kewaunee County and a resident of Two Rivers for nearly 30 years, died at the Two Rivers Municipal hospital on Friday, where she had been a patient only a few days.
"Mrs. Kostka (nee Mary Stangel) was born 12 May 1878 in Gibson (Township) in Manitowoc County; the fifth of eight children {five daughters & three sons} born to Joseph W. & Anna (Aulik) Stangel. On 7 February 1899 Mary married Frank Joseph Kostka at Cooperstown (Township) in Manitowoc County. Frank died over 30 years ago. After her husband's death, Mary made her home in Two Rivers.
