William Newton "Mr. Bill" Hogg Sr. 84 passed away Monday, November 5, 2012 in Columbus, GA at St. Francis Hospital.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, November 9, 2012 at All Saints Presbyterian Church at 12 P.M. The family will receive friends from 11–12 at the church on Friday. Bill was born on July 22, 1928 in Troup County, GA to the late James Clifford Hogg, Sr. and Dovie Adams Hogg. Bill was with the Muscogee County School District for 20 years as a teacher, coach, principal and was an educator for over 34 years. Bill enjoyed hunting his entire life and was very passionate about his jewelry making and enjoyed meeting people to share his designs. Bill is preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.

He is survived by his wife Polly Hogg of Columbus, GA; his two daughters Polly Herrington (Clark) of Colorado Springs, Co; Pam Milner of Columbus, GA; his son William Newton "Bill" Hogg, Jr. (Dale) of Columbus, GA; seven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren also may nieces and nephews.

Bill was a loving husband and father who enjoyed his family and will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

The family has asked that flowers be sent to All Saints Presbyterian Church at 7170 Beaver Run Road Columbus, GA.
