WayIan Defoor, age 84, of Gravelly passed away Tuesday, October 09, 2012 at his home. He was born January 17, 1928 in Gravelly, Arkansas to Elbert & Lillian Lemons Defoor. He was retired from General Motors and a member Mulberry Freewill Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife Myrel Melton Defoor; and grandson Coady Defoor.
Survivors include sons & daughters-in-law Jerry & Lisa Defoor of Bluffton; Dennis & Joyce Defoor of Dardanelle; grandsons Randy & Alicia Defoor of Russellville; Tim Defoor of Bluffton; great grandchildren Jacob & Saran Defoor of Russellville; step-grandchildren Nick Vaughn of North Carolina; Rick Vaughn of Belleville and Bobby Vaughn of Van Buren; step- great-grandchildren Ty Vaughn of Russellville; Cole Vaughn of Dover and Kara Vaughn of Belleville; several nieces & nephews & other family members.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, October 11, 2012 at the Mulberry Freewill Baptist Church with Rev. Jason Frayer and Rev Lavan Robinson officiating. Burial will be at Parks Cemetery. Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
