Ronald Lester Freeman, 66, of East Franklin Township died Friday, Feb. 18, 2005 at his residence. He was born Sept. 22, 1938 in Kittanning to Clarke Edward and Laura Ruby (Hooks) Freeman. Mr. Freeman was retired. He was a lifelong resident of the area.He was a Protestant. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, his dog Barney, listening to the Pirates and spending time with his family. Survivors include two sons, Randy L. Freeman and wife Jamie of Worthington and Michael E. Freeman and wife Linda of McGrann; one daughter, Deborah L. Sanders and husband Kevin of Kittanning; four grandsons, Shawn C. Freeman, Christopher J. Sanders, Kyle L. Freeman and Nicholas C. Sanders; one granddaughter, Sandra L. Freeman; and one brother, Robert C. Freeman of Kittanning. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 28 years, Sandra L. (Greenawalt) Freeman who died in 1984; and one son in infancy. Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home, Inc., 200 S. McKean St., Kittanning where funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday with the Rev. Darin Hepler officiating. Burial will be in Lawn Haven Burial Estates, Worthington.
