Salt Lake Tribune, The (UT) - October 7, 2005. Deceased Name: Harold C. Green 1922 ~ 2005, OGDEN - Harold C. Green, 83, died Monday, October 3, 2005 at a local care center. He was born September 9, 1922, a son of Peter Mark and Clara Brown Green. He was a lifelong resident of Ogden. On December 7, 1951, Harold married Mamie Jeppsen in Las Vegas, Nevada. Mamie died June 23, 2003. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Harold worked as a heavy equipment operator for Tiago Construction and W.W. Clyde Construction. He retired from the Ogden Job Corps as head instructor for heavy duty equipment operations. He was a long time member of the National Rifle Association and an honorary member of Local No. 3 International Union of Operating Engineers. Harold always enjoyed fishing and hunting large and small game. He loved to spend time with friends, especially at the rifle range and the Timbermine restaurant.
Surviving are one daughter, Joyce G. Daniels, Ogden; several grandchildren, one brother and three sisters, Ralph H. (Beverly) Green, Sandy, UT; Lova Coy, Riverton, UT; Lydia McCormick, Wheatridge, CO; Mary (Glen) Mitchell, Sandy, UT.
Preceding him in death were his wife and one brother Ron Green. The family expresses thanks to Crestwood Care Center and the beautiful people of Timbermine restaurant for the love and care given to Harold.
