Ms. Lorraine Regen Thornton, age 92 passed away in the Jackson Madison County Hospital on Saturday, January 16, 2010.

A Memorial Service will be held at 1:30 PM, Sunday, January 17, 2010 in the Tabernacle United Methodist Church, with Dr. Joe Thornton and Rev. Lea Thornton, officiating.

Visitation will be from 1:00-1:30 PM, Sunday, January 17,2010 in the Tabernacle United Methodist Church.

Ms. Lorraine was preceded in death by two sisters: Elizabeth Newell and Margaret Gant; and one brother: Burr Regen.

She is survived by two daughters: Nancy Helen Laughlin(Stephen), Rogersville, TN and Lynne Mann, Jackson, TN; two sons: Macon Thornton(Terry), Gallatin, TN and J. Claiborne Thornton(Lana), Nashville, TN; ten grandchildren: Regen Thornton, Ben Thornton, Lea Thornton, Suzanne Tipton, Beth Tipton, Joel Mann, Sarah Mann, John Thornton, Christina Thornton and Trevor Thornton and four great-grandchildren: J.D. Mann, Gracie Mann, Casey Thornton and Avery Thornton.

Memorials may be made to Tabernacle Campground Piano Fund, c/o Betsy Thornton, 57 Old Hwy 19, Brownsville, TN 38012.
