Anna (Antonia) De Cook, 86, died
June 3 at Knoxville Area Community
Hospital. She was born on
March 17, 1899, southeast of Pella,
the daughter of Peter A. Van
Donselaar and Pieternella (Jennie)
Verros.

She attended the Valley country
school near Pella. She married
Antonio M. (Tone) De Cook on Feb
17,1921 in Pella. The couple farmed
in the Pella vicinity during their
married lifetime and for 28 years
farmed west of Pella She moved to
Pella in 1978 and for the past five
years had been cared for at the
Griffin Nursing Home in Knoxville.
She was a member of the First
Christian Reformed Church in
Pella, where she belonged to the
Senior Helping Hand Society.

She is survived by a brother:
Albert P. Van Donselaar, Pella; a
sister: Leona (Mrs. Gysbert Ver
Meer), Pella; a son and his spouse:
Ralph and Cora Mae De Cook,
Pella; three granddaughters and six
great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her
parents, her' husband, three
brothers in infancy, a sister, and a
great-grandson.

Funeral services were held June 6
at the First Christian Reformed
Church in Pella, with Rev. John R.
Sittema officiating. Burial was at
Black Oak Twp. Cemetery in
Manaska County. Memorials may
be given to the World Home Bible
League Arrangements were made
by Van Dyk Duven Funeral Home
