She was a homemaker and former cafeteria worker at McCulloch School. She was a longtime member of First Friends Church in Marion and was a member of the Timebuilders Class. She was a gifted seamstress and baker and was well known for her sewing contributions to missions and baking yeast rolls. She sewed for her grandchildren and was a loving wife and mother.
Additional survivors include children, Stephen R. (Carol) Phillips, Kokomo, Cathy S. (Barry) Lobdell and Diana L. (James) Woodcock, both of Marion; grandchildren, Tia (Tim) Sparks, Tonya (Mike) Staten and Allison (Scott) Hunt; eight great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; eight stepgrandchildren; and 21 stepgreat-grandchildren; siblings, Francis Robbins, Warren, and Edna King, Venice, Fla.
She also was preceded in death by a son, Dennis Lee; and siblings, Mary Ellen Anderson, Pearl Parks, Bonnie Satterthwaite and Glen Robbins.
