Mrs. Deanna Chapman Carter, 65, of LaGrange, died September 6 at West Georgia Medical Center. Graveside services were held September 9 at the Meriwether Memory Gardens, Manchester.
Ms. Carter was born April 30, 1937 in Manchester, the daughter of Charles J. Chapman, Sr. and Violet Mason Chapman. She was the office manager of Gas, Inc. in LaGrange and a member of the Big Springs United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Allen and Vickie Teall of LaGrange; three grandsons, Andrew Teall, Evan Teall and Ethan Teall, all of LaGrange; one sister, Emily Clark of Marietta; one brother, Charles J. Chapman, Jr. of Broussard, La., a nephew, Tony Clark and his children, Jayme and Devin Clark, all of Cartersville.
Cox Funeral Home of Manchester was in charge of arrangements.
