Rosemond Gadd Worley, 74, of Gassaway died March 23, 1998, in Memorial Division, CAMC, after a short illness. She was a native of Charleston, a graduate of Stonewall Jackson High School and Morris Harvey College.
A retired music teacher, having taught in Kanawha and Braxton counties, a former board chairman with the Gassaway Public Library, a board member of Landmark Studio for the Arts, Sutton, an organizer of the Braxton County Arts and Crafts Fair, past regent of the Braxton County chapter of Daughters of the American Revolution and a member of the Secretariat of the West Virginia Episcopal Cursillo.
Surviving: daughters, Lorna Worley of Lorton, Va., Tia Gray of Alexandria, Va.; son David Worley of Alexandria; sister, Violet Coonts of Buckhannon; two grandchildren.
