Evelyn L. Ogle 75 of Knoxville, passed away Thursday, February 7 peacefully surround by her family. Mrs. Ogle was born in Knoxville and was a lifelong resident. She was a long time member of Galilee Baptist Church and a Sunday school teacher.
Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Clarence Ogle and her parents, Coy Lawson and Lucille Lewellyn Lawson.
She is survived by 3 sons; Jack Mitchell and fiancée Robin, Ben Mitchell and wife Cheryl, C.J. Ogle and wife Sarah; 2 daughters Terri Carpenter and Nancy Ridge and husband Gary.9 grandchildren; Stacy, Casey, Cecilia, Ryan, Shawn, Brandon, Emma, Beau and Asher; 9 great-greatgrandchildren;Dylan,Xander,Alayna,Makenzie,Kayla,Briana,Braxton,Baylee and Addyson.
The Family will receive friends Sunday, February 10 from 4 to 6 P.M. with the funeral service to follow at Galilee Baptist Church at 8622 Pickens Gap Rd. Knoxville 37920 Rev. Dwight Singleton will officiate. Graveside services will be held Monday, February 11 at Highland South Memorial Park following a precession beginning at 9:30 from Galilee Baptist Church. Services are under the direction of Highland South.
