Bob "Cowboy" Fain, 76, passed away Wednesday, February 6, 2013, in Bowie, Texas.

Funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 9, 2013, in the Drawing Room of the White Family Funeral Home.

Burial will follow at Smyrna Cemetery in Sunset, Texas.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 til' 8:00 p.m. Friday, February 8, 2013, at the White Family Funeral Home.

Arrangements are entrusted to the White Family Funeral of Bowie, Texas.

Bob was born August 8, 1936 to William Carwell and Mary Lee (Langford) Fain in Bowie, Texas. Since he was 18 years old, Bob worked for Trinity Concrete Company as a welder and retired with over 30 years of service. He married Sheron Jane French on July 22, 1962 in Sunset. Texas. Bob never met a stranger and even though he enjoyed coon hunting, his real passion was riding and braking horses.

He is preceded in death by his parents William and Mary Fain; three brothers, James, Charlie Boy, and Freddie Ray Fain; and sister, Doris Dell Fain Newport.

Bob is survived by his wife of 50 years, Sheron Fain of Sunset; two daughters, Kathleen Ann Ezzell and husband, Jack of Sunset and Christine Gale "Christie" Newberry and husband, Richard of Decatur; five grandchildren, Winston Ezzell and wife, Christal of Bowie; Rachel Ezzell of Fort Worth, Chanae Ezzell of Sunset, Amanda and Christopher Newberry of Decatur; six great grandchildren; two brothers, Billy John Fain of Denton and Samuel Dow "Sammy" Fain of Bridgeport; sister, Debbie "Sue" Whitaker of Ringgold; numerous nieces and nephews.
